NCC Day Observation Ceremony 2008
To All Cadets:
NCC Day Observation Ceremony will be held on the 1st of July 2008, next Tuesday. Please take note that there will be a training session at 1600 HRS on Monday, the day before the actual event. Be punctual, please don't let the whole company wait for you.
1st July 2008, please remember to do a full uniform check before leaving the house. Look at the mirror, and check yourself - do you have your Beret and Badges? There is no need for gloves this year. Assemble in school parade grounds by 0700HRS. Again, puntuality is important, we only have half an hour to practice till the school starts streaming in, so PLEASE do not be late.
For the whole coy, if you have PE on that day, please remember to bring along your PE Attire. You are not excused from PE. Also, when leaving from school, you only have a choice of either wearing the Full smart No.4 Uniform, Half School Uniform, or Full School Uniform out the school gates. No half No.4 or PT kit out, please. For Part Ds taking O Levels Oral in the afternoon, please remember to bring along your school uniform, tie, and school shoes to change.

To All BPNCC Cadets:
Hope you guys are all enjoying your holidays. Take note, the holidays are ending, so finish up all your holiday homework! Hand in your homework on time, make sure our cadets are the tip top students of BPGHS! :D
Okay, to business now - There are some upcoming events, with info from LTA Liw, please take note!
Whole Company: NCC Day is COMING! So got to get ready for the Observation Ceremony. WOHOO! NCC is the OLDEST and WISEST UG in SINGAPORE! :D:D
PLEASE, if you have the time now, PURCHASE them gloves from the school bookshop if you don't have a pair. Very cheap, less than 2 bucks. Don't paiseh yourself on that day itself by being the only goofer without a pair of white gloves.
Part A: Camp FEAST from 23 - 24 July at HQ NCC Further details on first training session (including consent form distribution etc. Must come!)
Part B: IMT M16 Classification tentatively to be held on 16 July
Part C: ROD IS COMING! Set for 12 July, Saturday. Confirmed by CPT Sim.
Part D: POP IS ALSO COMING! Last training; Please be present on Friday for NCC Day Observation Ceremony trial run. Set for 12 July, Saturday. Confirmed by CPT Sim.
ANYWAY, I really got to get this point through to you guys. Part D '08 is going to step down REALLY SOON. I know, been saying a lot of times already, but, its really REALLY sad for us to part. :(
Oh well.
Bye bye then, see you guys on first training (probably) next week! :)

Okay, just an update here.Well, holidays are here,so do try and get your holiday homework done,so after, you guys can relax. When term opens, one of the things we will be focusing on would be the NCC Day Observance Ceremony. It will tentatively be held on 1 July. So,in view of this,do practise the basic drills such as Sedia and Senang Diri when you are free.Other basic drills like Akan memberi taat,Sedia should also be practised as we will be taking the NCC Pledge. This might be the last major event done with the Part Ds so do try to get it right as a proper send off to them.
As for me,it has been a privilege and an honour to serve BPNCC as the Cadet Sergeant Major.I will always look back on the four years I have spent here, and the friends I have made,be it in school or HQ NCC.As my last wish,I do hope that all of you,be it Part A,B or C,will uphold the NCC Values of Loyalty to country,Uprightness,Leadership,Discipline,Commitment and Responsibilty,Care for fellow cadets and an Adventurous Spirit.Do remember the friends you have made, and the friends you will make,in time to come. And finally,do maintain our motto of Fearless We Go,Honour We Show. And do remember the saying "from strangers to friends, from friends to brothers".
I now take my leave, and I hope that BPNCC will continue to prosper for many years to come.Thank you all for being a part of my life, and I hope to see you guys again after I graduate.
